This buckle is certainly one of the fan favourites and there has been a lot of controversy about what colour this actual jump suit was, mainly due to the different lighting it was photographed under, was it blue, was it purple. This jumpsuit was made famous by the movie of the King on tour. During the movie he commented that the buckle had an "OWL" on it. The jumpsuit is also known as the Royal Blue Fireworks jumpsuit worn in 1972.
 
I love this buckle and I made sure the Owl looked the part on my buckle and the same number of stars are represented. The colour of this buckle is a little subjective as the exact colour of the jumpsuit is subjective.  I saw the jumpsuit twice, once in Graceland and again here in Melbourne.
A lot of people have different ideas to the exact colour and it does change depending on the lighting.
